A very nice presentation that is visually well developed and has lots of rich resources and information. This presentation was well designed and would be well-received by the audience.
Excellent presentation! Great visuals with clear text both in style and in presentation. I especially liked the way the photos were framed.
I am uncomfortable about teaching moral values (i.e. patriotism) in schools without framing it as a two-sided issue. My own group presentation was no exception for me.
Great presentation. I like how you used images, video, and yet still streamlined the information so that it was not overpowering. I really liked the videos and I truly think that students can do a project as you discussed. Overall, I was very impressed with the information and presentation as a whole.
Wow, this was a wonderful presentation. It was well-organized and packed with some great examples to include the students in the community. I love the idea of filling up backpacks for children who can't afford school supplies. I think that students would really respond to that project in a great way!
I LOVE the idea of Digital Citizenship! Can you send some of your students to educate some of our teachers? :o) I also think the idea of having students create blogs detailing their experiences is a great way for the students not only to brainstorm ideas but also to foster self-esteem. By sharing their experiences they can connect in meaningful ways and see how their community service made a difference. The listing of specific community service ideas is another plus! One suggestion might be to include hyperlinks to these organizations.
This presentation was very clear and easy to understand. I love the concept of the community being the classroom. Many high schools today require students to have a certain number of hours of community service to graduate. Teaching students at a young age to become involved in their community is necessary. This group really seems as though they thought the concept through.
The presentation was eye catching. It also seems that you put a lot of effort into the project.
I honestly don't see anything wrong with your project.
I love the layout of the presentation and I think it is very visually appealing. Your use of photography allowed me to imagine students themselves capturing these pictures and posting them. I think you have a lot of great ideas and now it would be just be a matter of zeroing in and making your ideas more specific. Great job!
Social and community responsibility is an excellent topic to address with students of all ages. I love the embedded YouTube documentaries. What a great way to get students involved, interactively?! I love how this group used the term "responsibility" as a major component of their topic. So often students today do not view themselves as having social and community responsibilities. The presentation was thoughtful and clearly formatted.
Wonderful work! I thought that you truly provided specific ways that the students can participate in this project. You provided them with many resources that allowed for realistic oppotunities.
I think this is a very visually stimulating presentation. I believe that it would be well received by students at the middle or high school level.
The only things I would recommend is to fix the layout on slide 6 & maybe add some "potential resources" on slide 12.
Overall, this is an excellent project!
Great presentation well done. It included photos and videos that worked well in technology and that the kids could relate too and understand.
This is the project I collaborated on and I enjoyed working on it. I feel that we tried to make it visually pleasing and meaningful. I believe that adding activities for the students to do was a very important thing to do to reinforce the knowledge gained when learning about community responsibility.
I think this is an excellent presentation. The goals were realistic and reachable. Everything was clear and well developed-Great job!
